Mr. Carl Edward Tolbert, born on August 20, 1934 in Muncie, IN, to the late Ama M. Tolbert and the late Carl C. Tolbert, passed away at age 84 on October 9, 2018 in Sun City, AZ. He was a retired Electronics Design Engineer at Shure Electronics. Carl was a very talented and creative artist and musician with beautiful paintings and elaborate wood workings. He was also a pilot in the past and loved to fly.Carl was married to Dorothy F. Tolbert.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melvie A. Marshall. Carl is survived by his son, Carl E. Tolbert II; daughter, Belinda J. Charland; grandchildren: Lela Marshall, April Aipperspach, Stephanie Kline, and Ember Tolbert; and three great-grandchildren.Friends and family can pay their respects at the celebration of life on Tuesday, November 6th at 10:00 A.M. at El Dorado Retirement Community, 10330 W. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City, Arizona 85351.
