Two caregivers face child abuse charges after school officials alleged a 7- and 8-year-old suffered nutritional neglect and physical abuse, Goodyear police said.
Goodyear detectives arrested and booked Kebrina Hussain (Ramirez), 30, and Ezekiel Hussain, 29, on child abuse charges following an investigation into allegations of nutritional neglect and physical abuse involving the children.
The investigation began Aug. 3 after school personnel reported a child’s significant weight loss, extremely thin appearance, facial bruising and a lip injury.
