CARE 7 receives $25,000 Tempe Diablos grant

Tempe’s CARE 7, led by the Community Health and Human Services Department, has received $25,000 in grant funding from the Tempe Diablos Charities to fund its programs and events that assist crime victims.

In partnership with Tempe’s Fire Medical Rescue and Police departments, CARE 7 is a crisis response service that operates 24 hours. The crisis response team will report to a crime to assist victims.

City council accepted the grant money at its June 1 meeting on consent.
