The Valley may be under an excessive heat warning this week but indoors — at State Farm Stadium — it’s almost football season.
The Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday announced their training camp schedule at the Glendale stadium. The team reports on July 22 and will host its first preseason workout Friday, July 24.
Seven practices will be open for all fans to attend. A change under first-year head coach Mike LaFleur is the timing of practices, with five of the open practices starting at 4 p.m., the team announced.
