Candidates cemented for Kyrene, Tempe Union governing board elections

Elections take place Nov. 8

The candidates have been finalized for the upcoming school district governing board elections in Tempe.

In the Kyrene Elementary School District, where two of five governing board seats are up for grabs, three candidates have turned in enough signatures to be included on the ballot. They are Trine Nelson, Kristi M. Ohman and Kevin Walsh.

Walsh is currently the board’s president and running for re-election. Current board member Margaret Pratt’s term will also come to an end this December.
