Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona, a partner practice of American Oncology Network, announced the relocation of its main clinic to Casa Grande.
The new site, located at 1281 E. Cottonwood Lane, is over 14,000 square feet and accommodates 10 private exam rooms and 20 infusion chairs. Additionally, the clinic is equipped with enhanced services such as diagnostic PET/CT imaging and TruBeam radiation treatments.
“As a community oncologist, it is very important to have the space as well as tools to treat our patients with the newest treatments and diagnostic equipment as close to home as possible,” Carlos E. Arce-Lara, MD, Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona medical oncologist and hematologist, shared in a press release. “Patients in Casa Grande will value this new treatment site greatly.”
Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona joined American Oncology Network in 2021. As part of the partnership, the clinic and providers have access to AON’s variety of services and support. Such services include access to AON’s in-house pathology and laboratory, specialty pharmacy for oral oncolytic medications and integrated patient care management.
“The new clinic provides ample space for our providers to deliver the same high-quality patient care they are known for while offering patients additional services in the form of PET/CT scans and radiation treatments,” Stephen “Fred” Divers, AON chief medical officer, stated.
