Canal Convergence marks 10 years of sharing public art

Event focuses on history, technology and more

Scottsdale Arts’ Canal Convergence celebrates its 10th anniversary from Nov. 8–13 with a selection of new and old faces bringing art to the community at the Scottsdale Waterfront.

Launched in 2012, the annual festival lights up a portion of the Arizona Canal with large-scale works of art that are both near and on the water — from the popular fire shows to new additions on the Soleri Bridge each year.

This year’s celebration marks 10 years of Canal Convergence. Since its inception, the event has grown not only in size but also in notoriety.
