In Legislative District 28, incumbent Rep. David Livingston has the deepest pockets heading into the primary election, more than doubling the amount of his closest competitor, according to campaign finance reports filed with the Arizona Secretary of State's office this month.
The district encompasses a good portion of northern Maricopa County including parts of Sun City, Peoria, and Surprise, and goes as far north as Yavapai County.
The reports, covering Jan. 1 through March 31, show Livingston leading the field in total cash on hand, with $140,737. During the period, he raised $30,666.
