Annual show in Chandler coming next month

West Valley Corvette owners are invited to enter their cars in an upcoming Corvette Club of Arizona (CCA) show.

The club will host its 8th Annual Corvettes in the Park on April 14 in Historic Downtown Chandler, at A.J. Chandler Park, 3 S. Arizona Ave. (Just South of Chandler Blvd).

CCA will donate all net proceeds from the show to the "Packages from Home" program. In the past three years the Corvette Club of Arizona has raised more than $9,400 for this worthy charity. Packages from Home is a Phoenix-based organization providing personal care and support items to U.S. Military personnel stationed abroad. Representatives from Packages from Home will be present to answer questions and share their mission.

Last year’s show displayed over 100 beautiful and powerful Corvettes from all years.

Corvettes in the Park is a "Participant’s Choice" judged show with awards for first, second and third place in each generation (C1-C7). An awards presentation will begin at 1:45 p.m.

Pre-registration for the show is $30, and the form must be received by March 31. Day of the show registration is accepted from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m., based on space availability.

Registration forms and additional information are available at corvetteclubofarizona.com, or by contacting Mark Godina at 480-888-0540 or Mark.Godina93@yahoo.com.

Corvette Club of Arizona encourages all Corvette owners in the area to come out and help support the troops. The Corvettes in the Park show is free to the public from 9:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m.
