As the Viewpoint Lake repair project moves closer to work beginning, officials still need to meet with more than half the property owners to discuss what needs done on their properties.
There are 81 single family home properties around the 33-acre lake and only 35 have had meetings with Pacific Aquascape and Recreation Centers of Sun City officials. Those meetings are essential to educate residents about what items need to me removed from along the lake shore on their properties before work begins.
Packets were sent to all lake property owners in July with items that needed discussion. The packets included a contact phone number to set up an appointment. However, some may not have received their packets. One residents claimed as much during the Aug. 24 update meeting.
