A downtown Phoenix skyscraper has exchanged hands after it was sold to a California apparel company for $17.08 million last week, according to real estate database Vizzda.
The building — called The Monroe — is a 19-story office tower which was built in 1964, according to the Vizzda website. The building is located at 111 W Monroe St., Phoenix. The sale closed on Monday, June 23, according to Vizzda.
The new owner is the Kellwood Company — which plans to build its space out and occupy “a certain number” of floors this summer, according to CJ Osbrink, an executive managing director at Newmark — who helped sell the building.
