In recent days, youth across the Valley have been walking out of classrooms in protests aimed at Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
On Wednesday morning, Cactus High School students joined the protests in opposition to the ICE killings in Minnesota, and other grievances against the Trump administration.
Around 200 ethnically diverse students with signs lined the Greenway Road sidewalk, leaving the school property, heading east and then north on 59th Avenue, all to the soundtrack of honking cars and chanting students.
