Cactus Bowl is back in Tempe; business owners look forward to the traffic

The Fiesta Bowl Foundation announced June 3 that the Cactus Bowl would return to Tempe from Phoenix, with Arizona State University’s Mountain America Stadium gaining a high-profile game set to be televised on ABC.

Many Tempe residents and business owners reflect on over a decade ago when Tempe’s Mill Avenue Block Party used to follow the Cactus Bowl with food and festivities on New Year’s Eve.

Now, the Cactus Bowl is back and ready to show more people what Tempe has to offer outside of football.
