Arizona fantasy sports contests are poised to be big business as the Department of Gaming released its first revenue report on the dollars and cents recently changing hands in search of daily wins, parlay plays and caviar dreams.

In simple terms, the report released Monday illustrates gross revenues from the first four days of sports betting operations in the state, state gaming officials say.

The revenue generated in the first four days — from Aug. 28 to Aug. 31 — is but a glimpse into future revenues.
