Business group expects lawsuit over vaccine mandate

Some Valley businesses are expected to be impacted by a federal vaccine mandate that requires workers to get vaccinated or get weekly tests by Jan. 4.

In September, President Joe Biden outlined a plan that would require all employers with more than 100 workers to have employees vaccinated or be tested weekly.

On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Labor issued the new emergency temporary standard that spells out to employers steps geared to help protect workers against the coronavirus.
