The Scottsdale Unified School District Governing Board approved a $485.5 million budget for school year 2023-24 during its June 20 meeting.
That includes a maintenance and operations portion of approximately $192.3 million, which is about $8.4 million more than the current maintenance and operations budget. Approximately $5.5 million of that is one time money given by the state with no strings attached on how to use it.
The state is funding the base level at $4,914.71 per student for maintenance and operations.
