Buckeye wins Distinguished Budget Presentation Award

The city of Buckeye has been honored with the “Distinguished Budget Presentation Award” for the fourth year in a row for its Fiscal Year 2022-2023 City Budget ending June 30, 2023.

 

This award is the highest form of recognition for governmental budgeting and represents a significant accomplishment by the Buckeye City Council, city management and the Finance Department.

 

Judging by an impartial panel ensures the highest standards in budgeting are met including strong policies, financial planning, communication and operation guidance. The criteria also includes satisfying generally accepted accounting principles and legal requirements.
