Salute to Service, a community event honoring current and veteran service members, is coming to Buckeye.
The event goes from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 at Sundance Park, 22865 W. Lower Buckeye Road.
Salute to Service will feature a concert in the park with the band Jeff Senour and Called to Serve, who will kick things off by singing the National Anthem alongside the local Honor Guard from the Buckeye fire and police departments.
The event will also include a special memorial walk around the lake, where each participant will receive a handheld American Flag to honor our nation's heroes.
A resource market will be on site to showcase various veteran resources. Additionally, a car show will display a wide array of vehicles.
Buckeye has partnered with Packages from Home to supply customizable boxes for participants, fostering a connection with active service men and women overseas through personalized care packages.
