A Buckeye man was arrested and charged with child abuse after police said he broke a 5-year-old girl’s arm.
Geterri Burton, 29, was arrested on Tuesday, May 30, after authorities investigated a case involving injuries a 5-year-old girl sustained to her arm, police said.
The child’s mother brought her to the hospital with a fractured arm. Police began investigating the case on that Tuesday after the victim, was brought to the hospital with injuries “inconsistent with what was disclosed by the adult parties,” according to court documents.
