Buckeye moves forward with Lanai Living, hears new residential development

The Buckeye City Council approved of a new annexation request that would allow for a Lanai Living multifamily property for residential development Miller Heights.

Randy Proch, senior planner for Buckeye on behalf of Tucson-based Holualoa Cos., presented the project that consisted of two lots totaling 27.29 acres near Apache Road and Monroe Street. Rights of way are being dedicated along MC85, Apache Road, and Monroe

Approval of this application allows for the multifamily development to move forward to support new residential growth in downtown Buckeye.
