On Tuesday night Buckeye’s chief financial officer shared a presentation looking at tentative budget for this city consisting of $565 million for fiscal year 2024.
William Kauppi, the city’s chief financial officer, gave a public presentation to the council sharing the maximum budget for the year, which once passed could not be lowered or increased.
Kauppi shared the budget goals as he explained the proposal is a balanced budget with ongoing expenses being paid for with ongoing revenue. He said they are continuing to invest in Buckeye’s future with a five-year capital improvement plan.
