Buckeye council makes way for more warehouses, residential properties

The city of Buckeye has again made agreements to further devote land for the use of more light industrial spaces and future homes.

Kurt A. Jones, an attorney for Phoenix-based Tiffany & Bosco, spoke on behalf of property owners TGV Turner LLC and Roosevelt Irrigation District to request the annexation of three parcels of land, totaling approximately 156.92 acres at the southeast corner of Turner Road and Southern Avenue, within the State Route 85 Employment Corridor.

The annexation would be followed by a potential rezoning and developing the site with light industrial uses in accordance with the property’s general plan designation of employment.
