Buckeye City Council hears the publics concerns over housing developments

The Buckeye City Council was met by concerned residents calling for the council to stop these developments earlier this week as it prepared to approve annexations that would bring more homes into the West Valley community.

One of the issues came from a public hearing for annexation of two parcels of land, totaling approximately 37.54 acres, located one quarter mile east of the northeast Corner of Indian School Road and Jackrabbit Trail.

This request came from developers Nexgen AZ Holdings LLC and the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, requesting annexation of two parcels with the intent of rezoning and developing the eastern site for a multifamily.
