Bruce Melvin Fullmer

SUN CITY - Bruce Melvin Fullmer passed away Aug. 20, 2016. He was born on May 12, 1930 in Syracuse, N.Y., and has lived in Arizona for the last 30 years. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a telephone programmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Fullmer; and his son, Bruce Edward Fullmer. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Dorothy Fullmer; his children, Paul Fullmer (Karen) and Donna Betts-Fullmer; his brother, Jack Fullmer; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 7205 N 51st Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bruce's name to The St John's Memorial Fund, 7205 N 51st Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower St, Phoenix, AZ 85014.
