Brown: Hospital needs better signs on Bell Road

I have a comment about the new micro hospital, Abrazo Surprise Hospital (located at 16815 W. Bell Road).

Being a local resident, I’m aware of its location being situated a little distance off from Bell Road, but if you’re unfamiliar with the area and in need of an emergency the last thing you want is searching for an emergency room in unfamiliar area.

There are really no signs on Bell Road directly or anywhere along Loop 303.

I’m surprised during planning that this was not taken into account for, since there’s usually hospital signs posted in the general vicinity.
