INDEPENDENT NEWSMEDIA
Westbound US 60 will be closed at Greenfield Road throughout the weekend, state transportation officials said.
Bridge work will take place from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, and the westbound US 60 on-ramps at Superstition Springs Boulevard, Power Road and Higley Road will be closed, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
ADOT officials suggest drivers consider exiting ahead of the closure and using westbound Baseline Road, Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to travel beyond it.
The westbound US 60 on-ramp at Greenfield Road will be open, but officials said to plan for heavier traffic in the area.
