Eastbound US 60 will be closed through the weekend at Greenfield Road for bridge work, state transportation officials said.
The work begins 9 p.m. Friday and continues through 5 a.m. Monday.
Eastbound US 60 on-ramps at Val Vista Drive, Gilbert Road and Stapley Drive also will be closed, and the Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to allow extra travel time.

Eastbound US 60 will be closed through the weekend at Greenfield Road for bridge work, state transportation officials said.
The work begins 9 p.m. Friday and continues through 5 a.m. Monday.
Eastbound US 60 on-ramps at Val Vista Drive, Gilbert Road and Stapley Drive also will be closed, and the Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to allow extra travel time.
ADOT officials suggested exiting ahead of the closure and using eastbound Baseline Road, Southern Avenue or Broadway Road to travel beyond the bridge work.
The eastbound US 60 on-ramp at Greenfield Road will be open, but plan for heavier traffic in the area, according to ADOT.
