The city’s Assistant Chief Rob Brewster says that’s too many.

Unfortunately, suicide is nothing new among the fire public safety ranks — it is three times more likely to happen than a line-of-duty death, but it can almost always be prevented, according to National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
