Brewery, live music venue coming to downtown Glendale

Simple Machine Brewing Company will occupy historic Sine Building

Downtown Glendale, and one of its most historic buildings, is getting a big boost in 2023.

The Sine Building, which most recently housed the former Gaslight Inn bed and breakfast, will soon be home to a craft beer brewery and companion live music venue on the ground level, and eight studio units plus three one-bedroom apartments on the second floor, converting the Inn’s former hotel portion to residential.

The Sine opened in 1926 at 5747 W. Glendale Ave.
