And it’s as simple as tightening up the legislation to make owning a weapon more restrictive. For example, follow California that has tightened up their gun safety laws. Their rate of shooting innocents is the lowest in the US.
Of course, the MAGA extremists will argue against such restrictions. That’s what they do.
It’s simply a matter of following the Fifth Commandment. Thou shalt not kill. (As well as do nothing to contain it).
