The recent article that listed a number of prominent Democratic politicians who are advocates of climate change yet own expensive properties on the coast and other areas that are in climactic danger are viewed as perpetrating a hoax.
This argument is specious because what do you expect them to do? Should they build underground bunkers? They have the money and privilege that Republicans have.
And they can afford the extremely high cost of insurance. It’s a win-win for all politicians regardless of political party. Since there are no term limits, many of our elected enjoy the largesse of their office oftentimes for decades.
