Brandon Act supporters to discuss mental health

Sen. Mark Kelley and the Caserta family from Peoria will discuss the importance of mental health to Arizona State University ROTC members, April 12, in Tempe.

In December, the U.S. Senate passed the fiscal year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act that included elements of the Brandon Act, legislation Kelly introduced and named in honor of fallen United States Navy Petty Officer Third Class Brandon Caserta of Peoria.

The bill was signed into law by President Joe Biden at the end of last year.
