Fire crews made progress Saturday on all sides of the Boulder View Fire, which is burning outside of Scottsdale, authorities said.
Nineteen percent of the fire, which has burned 3,711 acres, has been contained, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.
Evacuation orders have been downgraded, but residents returning home “should be mindful of crews still working in the area,” the department stated on X, formerly Twitter.
Early Friday morning, 60 homes north of Dove Valley Road and east of 136th Street were on evacuation status.
