A bobcat attacked three hikers in separate incidents along the Peralta Trail near Gold Canyon on Jan. 15, the Tonto National Forest reports.
Tonto National Forest worked with the Arizona Game and Fish Department and the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office to resolve the issue, it states on Facebook @TontoNationalForest
“Injuries ranged from scratches to bites on hands and legs, requiring emergency medical treatment. AZGFD reminds the public to protect themselves and their pets by keeping a safe distance from all wildlife, especially animals that appear aggressive or show unusual behavior, such as a lack of fear of humans,” it states.
