The Litchfield Elementary School District board president hinted at leadership changes in the coming years at last week’s candidate forum held by the district’s education foundation.
During questions, school board president Kimberly Moran, who is running for reelection, mentioned “potential plans” for Superintendent Jodi Gunning's retirement in the next few years as she spoke about the next four years being a turning point for the district.
“I particularly know that these next four years are going to be critical to the future of this district because there are a few things that are going to be happening,” Moran said. “There’s going to be some changeover in the leadership of this district based on the timing of our current superintendent and her potential plans for retirement.”
