Board of Supervisors canvasses primary election results

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors canvassed the results of the July 21 primary election at a special meeting Monday.

The primary saw 677,387 voters cast a ballot, which was 26.7% of registered voters in Maricopa County.

Of those, over 159,000 voters visited polls on Election Day, with an average wait time of 1-minute or less at the 236 vote centers around the county to either drop off or to vote that day.
