Board of Supervisors approves new e-bike policy

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors votes to approve a new ordinance involving electric bicycles at its meeting on Nov. 4, 2026.

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on Nov. 4 approved an e-bike ordinance to no opposition during its formal meeting.

The ordinance regulates electric bicycles, covering three state-defined classes, electric miniature scooters, and standup scooters.
