The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved the modification of the contract for expansion at the Southwest Regional Justice Center on its consent agenda on Oct. 21.
The modification between Maricopa County and DFDG Architects in the amount of $4,603,408 is for additional design services to include: design development, construction documents, construction administration services, and supplemental services for the Southwest Regional Justice Center expansion project located at 10420 W. Van Buren St. in Avondale.
The recent contract change order has increased the total value for the architectural and engineering work alone to more than $6.2 million, reflecting the addition of new services for construction documents and administration.
