The Recreation Centers of Sun City West budget for the next fiscal year is approved.
Early in the process, $3.2 million in capital spending was eliminated, according to Tim Hurley, Recreation Centers of Sun City West governing board president said.
Thirty-five public meetings took place to discuss items on the budget from September of last year through last month. Clif Swann, Recreation Centers of Sun City West chief financial officer, said there was a great deal of engagement and feedback from committees and the community to build the budget.
