Blues master Carvin Jones ready for 2 Surprise stops

Carvin Jones will play Irish Wolfhound in Surprise just three days before a gig in Italy. Blues master Carvin Jones brings his legendary sound to Surprise twice this month.
The guitarist combines flash, glitz and bling not to mention a fedora, sequined shirt, chunky jewelery, and his own brand of blues.
“Carvin Jones is a young cat out of Phoenix who I think is the next up-and-coming blues player,” Eric Clapton said in a 1999 edition of “Guitarist” magazine, which ranked Mr. Jones among the “The 50 Greatest Blues Guitarists.”
Mr. Jones will perform at 9 p.m. Friday, April 13 at Irish Wolfhound, 16811 N. Litchfield Road, Suite 102. Just three days after that gig, he will head overseas for performances in Italy from April 16-21.
He’ll be back in Arizona for an April 24 gig in Chandler, before he returns to Surprise for an 8 p.m. show Friday, April 27 at Rumors Sports Bar, 16846 W. Bell Road.
