Luke Days coming March 17-18
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels make their first appearance at Luke Air Force Base for the first time since 1992 when Luke Days 2018 takes to the skies March 17-18 at the base, 14185 Falcon Street.
The two-day event is free and open to the public. Gates open both days at 9 a.m. followed by opening ceremonies at 10:15 a.m. The Blue Angels aerial demonstration begins at 3:30 p.m. Gates close at 5 p.m.
Performers over both days include: Gary Rower-Stearman; Desert Rats-CJ-6; Bob Freeman-Extra 330; Tora Tora Tora-Zero’s and Bombers; Buck Roetman-Pitts; Dan Buchanan-Glider; Joint Airfield Assault Demo; Brad Wursten-MXS-R; ACC A-10 Demo; U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight-F-35A; Red Tail-P-51; Bill Stein-Edge 540; U.S. Air Force Academy Wings of Blue; Greg Coyler-T-33; Kirby Chambliss-Extra 540; John Klatt Air Shows; and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
