Blood donations needed in the Sun Cities

Vitalant works with various organizations in Sun City West to host blood drive and collect donations.

Residents can make a blood donation and help patients in need.

They are hosting a second Vitalant Blood Drive this year 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at the Sun Cities Lions Foundation,9451 N. 99th Ave. Peoria.

There is a need for all blood types, but especially Type O-negative.
