Bill would pave way for residents to vote on photo radar

A measure allowing residents to approve of whether their city has photo radar could be heading to the November ballot.

The Arizona House of Representatives and the Senate have passed identical bills — HCR 2004 and SCR 1004 — and legislative leaders will now decide which bill may make the ballot. Ballot measures passed by the Legislature do not require the governor’s signature.
