Bill providing $1.2M to Queen Creek to create statewide model for missing teens clears senate

The state Senate has passed a bill that will provide Queen Creek with more than $1.2 million to create a pilot program that could be expanded statewide to help improve the process of finding children who go missing from group homes.

Earlier this week, the Senate voted 16-9-5 in favor of the bill. It now goes to the state House.
