Big week for robotics, coding at Queen Creek schools

Just days before the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, Meta, donated money for the Queen Creek Unified School’s District’s junior high robotics programs, students and teachers from across the state met at Newell Barney Junior High for a robotics competition.

The competition took place last weekend with the NBJH Robotics Club competing alongside 35 teams during the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation event.

Meta's donation will support the district's work in robotics education and improve STEM learning and the student experience, according to a press release.
