Big game expects to be break even for Glendale

Glendale looks to shimmer and shine as the Super Bowl kicks off next month.

But bringing the second Super Bowl to the Valley in less than a decade is a lot of work. And for Glendale, the host city, it will mean a lot of money spent to make sure everything works.

Preparations for the big game began as last year’s event was getting underway in February, said  city of Glendale spokesman.
