The 25th anniversary of The Giving Back Fund and 12th annual Big Game Big Give once again raised money and gave honors, just before the Super Bowl game.
On Feb. 11, the Big Game Big Give was hosted at a private residence in the Town of Paradise Valley.
During the event, the Vincere Foundtaion was honored for its life-saving work in the prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer in firefighters and first responders.
Also honord was National Basketball Association Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo, who played 18 seasons.
Cedric Ceballos, former Phoenix Suns and LA Lakers players, served as event emcee and DJ.
Among other special experiences during the event included a Super Bowl-themed dueling piano battle, live musical performances, live auction with once-in-a-lifetime experiences, unique silent auction, tea experience, salt-healing room, rare crystal readings, underwater art experience by Christy Lee Rogers, food stations, sound bowls, cocktail bars, fire dancers, aerialists, fashion show honoring AZ FireFighters curated by ArtxShanna and more.
The 2023 Big Game Big Give had a goal of raising $2 million; a final total has not yet been announced.
