Sealed bids will be received until 1:30 p.m. May 31 for paving in the housing subdivision of Reverence at Superstition Vistas in south Apache Junction, according to a public notice.
All bidders that are not currently an approved vendor for D. R. Horton Inc. will be required to submit an executed contract for construction and insurance certificate with their proposal.
All sealed bids are to be mailed and received by — or hand delivered to — Mike LoTempio, 1130 N. Alma School Road Suite No. 120 in Mesa. The envelope must be marked: “bid for bid-build of Radiance parcel 19.3 & 19.4 paving.”
The project is generally on Ray Road between Meridian Road and Ironwood Drive in the city of Apache Junction.
The contract is for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction and/or installation of improvements only shown on the plans, including, but not limited to the following:
- Reverence at Superstition Vistas Parcel 19.3 – Paving plans: Pavement, work associated with local roadway improvements including but not limited to asphalt concrete pavement, base course, and survey markers; and
- Reverence at Superstition Vistas Parcel 19.4 – Paving Plans: Pavement, work associated with local roadway improvements including but not limited to asphalt concrete pavement, base course and survey markers.
Contractors desiring to submit proposals must submit in writing, including email, the request for the link to the bid documents, plans and specifications to Mike LoTempio at mike.lotempio@epsgroupinc.com.
Payment and performance bonds will be required for this work. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a payment bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Successful bidder shall name D. R. Horton Inc. as obligee on both the payment and performance bonds and name the city of Apache Junction and Arizona State Land Department as additional obligees on the performance bond.
