A bicyclist died at a hospital after he was hit by a truck Saturday night while traveling along East Buckeye Road, Phoenix police said.
The driver fled in what officials described as a light-colored truck, and police are seeking help from the public in locating the vehicle.
The crash occurred about 7:45 p.m. Aug. 10 near 16th Street and Buckeye Road. The truck, according to preliminary information, was headed north on 16th Street when it struck the bicyclist and continued north after the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest, police said.
