SUN CITY - Beulah Mae McKinney, 95, passed away on November 9, 2014 in Sun City. Beulah Mae (Rotenberry) McKinney was born April 25, 1919 to George F. Rotenberry and Emma (Littreal) Rotenberry in Lincoln, Illinois. Her family later moved to Decatur, Illinois where she was raised and educated. She married Paul B. McKinney on October 23, 1938. She was a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church since 1975. She was preceded in death by brother, Herman Rotenberry; her parents, husband, and beloved sisters, Marie Covey, Mabel Karch, Ruth Bass, and Shirley Taylor. She is survived by daughter, Deborah Lee Frederickson of Sun City; son, Rodney B. McKinney of Aurora, Colo.; granddaughters, Jolie Sue Frederickson, Amanda Gash, and Carly McKinney; great-grandson, Alexander Fadden, and many nieces and nephews. Affectionately known as "Boo" to her family, she was known for her witty sense of humor and clever poems and for her kind and generous nature. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Lakeview United Methodist Church.
